ROLE SUMMARY
IDFC FIRST Bank is looking for a Developer to design, develop, and maintain software applications supporting digital banking initiatives. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance customer experience and meet business requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and test software applications using modern programming languages and tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Maintain and enhance existing systems supporting digital banking
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
- Mentor junior developers when required
- Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Experience with web development and database management
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in banking or financial services is a plus
ELIGIBILITY
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in software development (some openings accept freshers)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Location: Bengaluru
