Software Engineer

Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer in Hyderabad. You will solve complex problems, collaborate with customers and stakeholders, and work on innovative solutions involving cloud technologies, AI, and agentic development. The role involves full software development lifecycle work in a hybrid setup (3 days/week in-office).

• Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements
• Drive identification of dependencies and development of design documents
• Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance and maintainability
• Leverage subject-matter expertise of product features and partner with stakeholders on project and release plans
• Act as Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guide other engineers; handle on-call monitoring and issue resolution
• Proactively seek new knowledge and adapt to trends that improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance at scale

• Bachelor and/or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• 2+ years of professional development experience
• Technical Stack: Python, C++, C#, ML, NLP, and search technologies
• Focus on Agentic Development, strong analytical skills, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration
• Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud Services (Azure, Entra, O365)
• Passion for cloud technologies and AI

• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in geographically dispersed teams
• Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud background check requirements
• Hybrid work model (3 days/week in-office) in Hyderabad
