ROLE SUMMARY
The Software Engineer will design and develop scalable AI-powered data ingestion and processing platforms using Python. The role focuses on intelligent data pipelines, web crawling, document processing, LLM/AI services, REST APIs, and production-ready AI systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop web crawling, data ingestion, and AI-powered processing solutions using Python.
- Build scalable pipelines for processing HTML, PDF, and other structured and unstructured data.
- Develop REST APIs supporting AI/ML services and data-processing workflows.
- Integrate AI/ML models and LLMs for document parsing, classification, summarization, and information extraction.
- Design and optimize background processing, task scheduling, and distributed workloads.
- Build monitoring, logging, and observability for AI pipelines and backend services.
- Deploy AI/ML models and LLM-powered services into production.
- Optimize model inference, pipeline performance, scalability, and system reliability.
- Collaborate with Product, Data Science, DevOps, and Engineering teams.
- Deliver clean, maintainable, well-tested, production-ready code.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- 2-3 years of Python development experience with FastAPI, Django, or similar frameworks.
- Strong experience in AI/ML, Generative AI, or LLM application development.
- Experience with web scraping frameworks such as Scrapy or Playwright.
- Hands-on experience with NLP, document processing, or information extraction.
- Experience integrating LLMs such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or Llama using LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and distributed task processing.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, vector databases, or OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, cloud platforms, and application monitoring.
- Knowledge of RAG architectures and vector databases is a plus.
- Experience with Hugging Face, PyTorch, TensorFlow, MLflow, Kubernetes, OCR, computer vision, or multimodal AI is a plus.
ELIGIBILITY
- 2-3 years of Python development experience is required.
- Target batches: 2022 / 2023 / 2024.
- Candidates should have strong Python, backend, AI/ML, and data-processing fundamentals.
- The role is full-time and based on-site in Bangalore.
