Associate Software Engineer

Halliburton is one of the world’s largest providers of products and services to the global energy industry. Landmark, a Halliburton company, builds the software and data platforms that help the energy industry make better decisions — spanning subsurface interpretation, well construction, reservoir simulation, production optimization, and digital operations used by major energy companies worldwide.

Halliburton (Landmark) is hiring Associate Software Engineers in Bengaluru for early-career roles (new graduates to ~5 years experience). You will join a delivery team, write production code from day one, and build software used daily by oil & gas operators. The role offers strong mentorship, code reviews, and clear growth path across various product domains.

• Build, test, and ship features for products used by energy companies worldwide
• Debug and fix defects in production systems
• Write and maintain automated tests as part of the delivery workflow
• Participate in code reviews (give and receive feedback)
• Follow secure coding practices and triage security issues
• Contribute to technical documentation
• Work in a distributed team across time zones
• Research and evaluate open-source tools that improve the systems

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Working knowledge of at least one modern programming language and standard development tooling
• Preferred: Experience with shared codebases, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), web development, data systems, CI/CD, or infrastructure automation
• Interest in scientific computing, AI/ML, real-time systems, or large-scale data processing is a plus
• Energy industry experience is not required
