ROLE SUMMARY
LG Ad Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer I to join its growing engineering team in Bangalore. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to work on large-scale, high-performance systems that power the global advertising platform, focusing on ad serving, targeting, measurement, big data, and distributed systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to the design and development of scalable and performant ad serving and measurement systems
- Collaborate with team members to design efficient and innovative big data and distributed system components
- Work on integrations with internal and external systems to expand data and targeting capabilities
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices around clean code, testing, and CI/CD workflows
- Proactively communicate progress, challenges, and feedback with the team and stakeholders
- Learn and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies
- Write reliable, well-tested, and maintainable code supporting operational excellence
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Scala, Python, Go, C++ or JavaScript
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and fundamental Computer Science concepts
- Familiarity with databases (MySQL, Redis, HDFS, MongoDB, etc.)
- Eagerness to learn big data frameworks (Spark, Databricks) and cloud technologies (AWS, Kubernetes)
- Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity to explore complex systems
- Clear communication skills and willingness to learn from peers
- Preferred: Internship/project experience in distributed systems or big data, exposure to ReactJS, Git, data pipelines
ELIGIBILITY
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or relevant experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Early-career engineers welcome
- Location: Bangalore, India
- Strong interest in large-scale systems and continuous learning
