ROLE SUMMARY
NxtPe is hiring for Backend Development Intern / Full-time Software Engineer roles focused on Java and Spring Boot. You will work on industry-defining products, solve challenging engineering problems, and have the opportunity to convert from internship to full-time based on performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
- Develop REST APIs and work with databases
- Solve challenging engineering problems at scale
- Contribute to real products used in a growing fintech ecosystem
- Take ownership of features and deliver high-quality code
- Collaborate in a remote, high-growth environment
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strong fundamentals in Java, Spring Boot, DSA, and DBMS
- Hands-on experience building real-world/live applications
- Good understanding of REST APIs and databases
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Good communication and ownership mindset
- Prior startup/product-based experience is a plus
ELIGIBILITY
- 2025 & 2026 Batch: Full-time Software Engineer opportunity
- 2027 Batch: Backend Development Internship
- Strong interest in backend development and fintech
- Paid full-time internship with conversion opportunity based on performance
