Binocs.co is hiring an SDE-I to join its initial engineering team in Bengaluru. This is a great opportunity for motivated early-career engineers to take ownership of components of a best-in-class digital platform for the Private Credit industry, building robust and scalable systems in a fast-paced environment.

• Be part of the initial team to define and set up a best-in-class digital platform for the Private Credit industry and take full ownership of components
• Build robust and scalable web-based applications with focus on platforms and reuse
• Drive and actively contribute to High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs)
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications
• Mentor team members on coding practices and conduct comprehensive code reviews
• Ensure security, performance, and reliability of backend systems through testing, monitoring, and optimization
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile processes
• Stay curious about product problems and explore new domains including Gen-AI

• 0-1 years of experience in backend development
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python, Golang, Node.js, Java)
• Good understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles
• Experience with multi-threading and concurrency
• Strong object-oriented design skills and knowledge of design patterns
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of Test Driven Development
• Preferred: Microservices, serverless, CI/CD, LLMs/AI technologies
